TunnySaysIDK Costumes Terms of Service

Payments:

The full price will be divided into a 1/3 (Rounded up) NON-REFUNDABLE initial payment which is required to hold your spot, and a 2/3 (Or remainder) final payment, plus any shipping costs. Payments must be made through either PayPal or through postal money order. Western Unionâ , Moneygramâ , and other money transfers will not be accepted. Cash can only be accepted at conventions or meet-ups in person.

Installments:

The commissioner determines the amount of each installment. However, the first payment must be complete before starting, and the final payment and shipping costs before shipping. Any project a commissioner that has not fully paid off 30 days after completion (without communication) may be kept, refurbished and/or resold.

Allergies:

Please keep in mind that my workshop is full of cats & smoke! If you want your suit quarantined it can be put in a sealed tub & only worked on after cleaning for a $100 fee, however it is encouraged that you consider another maker just to be safe. Quarantining will void any deadlines.

Process:

Once the full initial payment is received, concept art will be made to confirm the design of the character. Please look over your concept art very carefully. This is the final design & cannot be changed once accepted. If anything major needs to be changed, a second reference may be made. After the commissioner has approved the sketch, their commission is ready-to-go and their spot in line is concrete. The commissioner is then told their start and finish dates, if they haven't been discussed already. Please keep in mind the "deadline" set is not certain, and is subject to change. Once the commissions in front of theirs are finished, work will begin on their suit.

Work-in-progress pictures of the head will be given for foamwork (Red-lining and tweaks can be done at this point), once taped (with markings drawn on), and once finished. Pieces (Paws, tails, feet, etc.) will be given pictures once finished and usually cannot be tweaked, apart from shaving. When the suit is complete final pictures will be sent and the final payment and shipping is due. Additional work in progress pictures are posted on Twitter, which is streamed on the homepage.

Duct Tape Dummies:

A DTD is required to be made for any fullsuit or 3/4 suit commission. DTDs must be created & sent at least a month proir to work beginning. Please remember to tape your DTD back togther once you've cut it off! Untaped DTDs will add to your commission time and void deadlines, could possibly incur a fee of up to $150 (depending on how much work needs to be done to get the DTD in working condition), or may even need to be replaced completely. Please also mark your beltline for the tail and add your name and character's name somewhere.

Shipping:

All suits are shipped as soon as possible after final payment and shipping fees are received. Shipping is done through United States Postal Serviceâ . US shipping is around $40 for 2-3 day or $60 for next-day on partials, heads, and fullsuits. Digitigrade padded & larger fullsuits may need to be split between two boxes. Shipping payment can be sent once the exact cost is determined after shipment. World shipping and small piece shipping will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Warrantee:

All suits are covered for 3 months after completion and will be repaired free of charge with the exception of shipping. The commissioner pays shipping out, return shipping will be covered. The warrantee only covers fixable damage, I.e. loose or unglued foamwork, missing teeth or claws, etc. Unfixable damage by mold, water, fire, etc. will not be fixed, replaced, or refunded. Small damage (Unglued pawpad, popped seam, etc.) can easily be fixed by the commissioner, instruction can be given if needed. After the 3-month period has expired, repairs will be priced on a case-by-case basis. Refurbishing & editing is also available for suits by any maker!
